VPS og dedikerede servere (Hosting Controlcenter) Hjælp

Update bash (CentOS 5 and 6)

You must update bash to protect your CentOS 5/6 server against the ShellShock vulnerability.

Warning: These instructions only apply to servers with the Hosting Control Panel interface (more info). If you have a CentOS 6 server with the Gateway interface, instead see Update bash (CentOS and Fedora).
  1. Connect to your server via SSH.
  2. Switch to the root user.
  3. Verify which version (32- or 64-bit) of CentOS you use by running the following command:
    uname -m
  4. Update bash by running one of the following commands, depending on your CentOS version:
    CentOS Version Command
    CentOS 5 32-bit
    rpm -Uvh http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/updates/i386/RPMS/bash-3.2-33.el5_11.4.i386.rpm
    CentOS 5 64-bit
    rpm -Uvh http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/updates/x86_64/RPMS/bash-3.2-33.el5_11.4.x86_64.rpm
    CentOS 6 32-bit
    rpm -Uvh http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/i386/Packages/bash-4.1.2-29.el6.i686.rpm
    CentOS 6 64-bit
    rpm -Uvh http://mirror.centos.org/centos/6/os/x86_64/Packages/bash-4.1.2-29.el6.x86_64.rpm

Bash is now properly patched and updated on your server.
